A Diary of Haunting Dreams..........

She walks alone. The same path, every time. Except tonight. Tonight, it's different. Only because it's night. And, because it's night, nothing is the same.

She sees things in a different perspective. She notices things aren't the same. There is a sense of destruction. A dead silence has fallen throughout the woods tonight. The trees are keeping secrets from her. Some have even fallen. Silenced forever. Never to rise again.

She closes her eyes. Trying to read or sense what went on here.
A dark presence.

A deep breath in. She feels the pain. Sees the destruction. Oh the pain.

Exhale.

She falls. Collapses to the ground. She lies there. The edge of the path where it meets the shoreline of the lake. The full moon reflecting off the still waters. The shadows of the trees draping over her.

It's so quiet.

A whisper.

Where did he come from? How? What?

He kneels down beside her. He feels her pain. Tries to brush her long wavy hair from her face. But only comes within an inch. Is he scared to touch her?

His hand risen above her as if to comfort her. But never to make contact. There is sadness in his eyes.

She lies there. Helpless. Unconscious. Unaware of his presence. His breath now heavier. He's upset. Angry. Guilt is starting to overcome.

What happened here?

Wake up! She needs to wake up. He's feeling out of control.

Vengeance.

He wants to seek vengeance.

Why won't he wake her?

They're coming. Nothing is still. Only her. She still lies there. Waves now crashing against the rocks. The trees recklessly swaying. Fighting the wind.

The wind is angry. As if to take on his emotions. Spinning out of control.

He jumps up and disappears into the woods. He left her. Alone and vulnerable. Unable to wake.

Time has past.......

Silence once again. The full moon reflecting off the still waters. Shadows of the trees draping over her. No sound. No movement.

She lies there.

I'm floating on calm waters. The air so clean and crisp. My breath slow and relaxed. The soft night breeze gently whispering through the leaves moving around me as a secret being past on. Millions of stars dancing along the moonlit sky.

I lay here.

She's the one you point to and say "that's her".

You need to approach with caution though. She comes with her own warning.

Warning you never to get too close. Fall in love at your own risk.

She has been hurt once before and has vowed never to be hurt again.

It's very easy to fall. To get lost in those eyes. Wanting to protect her. Make her feel safe and free from harm.

You think you feel her pain and will do anything to rid of it.

She is a lost soul. Waiting to be rescued. Yet, will never let anyone get close enough to be her savior.

Men have tried before and never succeeded. Only to be left with emptiness themselves. Their hearts shattered so fast, before they even knew it.

With each try, the wall gets thicker and higher. An invisible force to be reckoned with. A barrier never to be brought down.

She is a mystery. That is what draws you in. She's intriguing.

She'll leave you thirsty. Wanting what you can never have. A dangerous addiction.

Those bewitching eyes

Beautiful, envious, wavy long hair

That body

Her endless, child like smile

You want to be the one who saves her.

But can you? Are you willing to take that chance? Will you be the one to break down the barrier that protects her heart?

Are you the one................
