On this wicked winters eve
One may think the creatures sleep
But beneath the fresh white snow
Underground they do so creep
The moon is full
Stars dancing in the night
Snow reflecting a blanket of diamonds
A scene painted so perfectly right
Alone with the silence
She closes her eyes, feels his presence near
The light snow starts to gently fall
Only to open her eyes and wish that he would appear
A slow breath released
Realizing he doesn't exist
Only in her thoughts and dreams
With him not here, her world is filled with emptiness
So she walks alone
With the fresh snow crackling beneath her feet
No one to hold her hand
Make her feel safe, kiss her passionately
On this wicked winter's eve
She walks alone sad and lost on this night
For the only one she'll ever love
Does not exist, never to be by her side
